Q: How do I book?
A: Very easily by completing our online
booking form. Before you book please read the terms.
Q: I want a homestay in a specific part of London / I have
a specific request. What do I do?
A: Please specify your requirements on online
booking form. If we can't meet these requirements we aim to
inform you within 2 working days of receiving your booking. If
we cannot meet your request, there is naturally no charge.
Q: What accommodation is currently available?
A: We have 2000 homestays and availability changes by the minute.
We are unable to provide you with a list of what is currently
available. However, we will inform you if we are unable to meet
your specified requirements within circa 2 working days of receiving
your booking.
Q: Can you book a homestay for me outside London?
A: Currently that is not possible.
Q: I am doing an English course at a language school in Zone
1. Should I live in Zone 1?
A: The London underground (tube) and train service is normally
excellent. You can go from say Zone 5 (eg Strawberry Hill) to
Zone 1 (eg Waterloo) in 30 minutes. Going from Zone 1 to Zone
3 can take 15 minutes.

for a very good map of the London Underground with all the Zones
marked. It is 390 kB so may take a few seconds to open.
Q: Do I have to be a student to book?
A: No.
Q: How can I pay for the accommodation?
A: The £50 deposit is payable by credit card. The balance
can be paid by bank transfer or credit card.
Q: Why is there a £5 a week supplement for non-students?
A: English VAT (Value Added Tax) regulations on accommodation
are different for students and non-students.
Q: I want to learn English at a school in England. Can I book
the course later?
A: You can book your course whenever you want. You non-student
supplement will be refunded as appropriate after you have registered
for a course.
Q: When do I have to pay?
A: We can only guarantee your homestay after we receive full payment.
Q: Can I book homestay accommodation with a private bathroom.
A: Homestays with a private bathroom are in very short supply, and usually only with Executive accommodation. If you really want a
private bathroom please book Executive accommodation.
Q: I am not sure when I want the accommodation. What should I do?
A: Please only book when you know your required dates. Accommodation
availability changes daily.
Q: Why is there a range of prices for Executive homestay accommodation?
A: It is not possible for us to standardise Executive
homestay prices. Executive hosts charge a wide range of prices.
If you want an Executive homestay please give a
maximum weekly rent.
Q: Can I book less than 1 week?
A: The minmum charge is for 1 week.
